Okay, so I’ve been getting into this whole “higher self” astrology thing lately, and let me tell you, it’s been quite the ride! I thought I’d share my journey so far, from complete newbie to, well, someone who’s at least dipping their toes in the cosmic waters.
It all started a few months ago. I was feeling a bit lost, you know? Like I was just going through the motions, not really sure where I was headed. Then a friend of mine mentioned something about astrology and how it helped her find some clarity. I’d always thought of astrology as just those daily horoscopes in magazines, which never seemed to apply to me.
But I was curious. So, I started with the basics – what even is a birth chart? Turns out, it’s like a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment you were born. You need your birth date, time, and place, and it tells you where all the planets were hanging out. There are loads of websites that will generate this for you for free. When I saw mine, I was like, “Whoa, what is all this?” It looked like a complicated pie chart with all these symbols and lines. I had no idea what any of it meant.
So, I started reading. There’s so much free stuff online. Blogs, articles, guides – you name it. I learned about the Sun, Moon, and the different zodiac signs. I’m a Gemini Sun, which apparently means I’m curious and adaptable. My Moon is in Scorpio, which, from what I gather, makes me intense and emotional. Who knew?
- First, I just focused on understanding my Sun and Moon signs.
- Then, I started looking at the other planets and what they represented. Venus is all about love and beauty, Mars is about energy and drive, and so on.
- I learned about “houses” too, which are like different areas of your life – career, relationships, home, etc. It’s like each planet is throwing a party in a different room of your house, and the sign they’re in is the theme of the party.
It was a lot to take in, honestly. But I kept at it, reading a little bit each day. I started following some astrology accounts on social media, which helped break things down into bite-sized pieces. And then there’s this whole other level with numerology and even Chinese astrology, which I’ve barely scratched the surface of!
Connecting with My Higher Self
The more I learned about my birth chart, the more I started to understand myself better. It was like someone was finally speaking my language. I started to see patterns in my life, things that I’d always felt but couldn’t quite put into words. It’s not about predicting the future or anything like that. It’s more about understanding your own potential, your strengths, and your challenges.
It’s also encouraged me to be more introspective. I’ve started journaling more, just writing down my thoughts and feelings. I’ve also been spending more time in nature, just sitting and listening to the sounds around me. It’s amazing how much more connected you feel when you take the time to quiet your mind.
It’s also helped me connect with other people on a deeper level. When you understand that everyone has their own unique astrological blueprint, it’s easier to be more compassionate and understanding. We’re all just trying to figure things out, you know?
This journey is far from over. I’m still learning and growing every day. But I can honestly say that exploring higher self astrology has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. It’s like I’ve finally found a way to tap into my own inner wisdom, and that’s pretty darn cool. I encourage everyone to do the same. The power of self-discovery is a wonderful thing. You never know who you’ll find when you truly look within!
