Today, I gonna talk about this tarot deck, the Squid Cake Tarot. Man, it’s a trip, let me tell you. I got my hands on it a while back, and it’s been a wild ride ever since.
So, I opened up the box, and bam, the colors just popped right out at me. I mean, this deck is something else. You got your knights, but they’re not your typical knights, oh no. These guys are riding all sorts of crazy creatures. You won’t believe it until you see it.
The Cards
- Knights: Riding some wild-looking animals, totally not your average horses.
- Faces: These quirky faces all over the cards, they kind of grow on you, you know?
- Colors: Man, the colors are delicious. Like, you could almost eat ’em up.
I started shuffling them, and they feel good in your hands, not too flimsy, not too stiff. Just right. Then I laid them out, did a few readings for myself, just messing around. And these cards, they speak to you. I don’t know how to explain it, but they just do.
I showed them to a buddy of mine who’s also into tarot, and he was like, “Whoa, where did you get these?” He was blown away. We spent the whole afternoon just going through the cards, talking about the imagery, the snails, the cakes, the fly-traps, and yeah, the octopus. It’s all in there.
I even tried doing a reading for my sister. She’s a total skeptic, but even she had to admit there was something to these cards. They kind of draw you in, whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been doing this for years.
So, that’s my experience with the Squid Cake Tarot. It’s weird, it’s fun, it’s colorful, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re into tarot or just looking for something different. I keep coming back to it, and every time, I discover something new. It’s like a gift that keeps on giving.
