Okay, so, I’ve been seeing this “Make a Wish Tarot” thing pop up all over my feed lately, and I got curious. I mean, who doesn’t have a wish they want to come true, right? So, I thought, why not give it a shot? What’s the worst that could happen?
First off, I grabbed my trusty tarot deck. I dusted it off – haven’t used it in a while, to be honest. Then I started to do some research online to figure out how this whole “Make a Wish” tarot thing actually works. Turns out, there are a few different ways to do it, but the basic idea is to focus on your wish while you shuffle and then draw some cards.
The most common method I found was a simple three-card spread. I shuffled the deck while concentrating on what I really wanted to achieve. Then I did the following:
- The first card: represents the wish itself. I cut the deck and drew the top card, I got The Empress! Feels good, the card of abundance and creation.
- The second card: supposed to show you why you have this wish. I placed the card on the right side of the first card. I got the Ace of Wands.
- The third card: tells you how to get closer to your wish. I placed the card below the first and second cards. Got the Star.
I spent some time looking at the cards, reading their meanings in the little booklet that came with the deck, and thinking about how they related to my wish. It was actually a pretty cool experience, I laid the cards out and started digging into what they might mean for my wish.
Interpretation Time
The Empress, being all about abundance and creation, made me feel like my wish was fertile ground for something amazing to happen. Then the Ace of Wands comes along. I guess this means I have a new passion, a new way for this wish to come true. Finally, there’s The Star, a card of hope and faith. It’s like the universe is telling me to keep believing and stay positive, and things will work out. That’s great, right?
So, did it work? Well, my wish hasn’t magically come true overnight. But I do feel like I have a better understanding of what I want and maybe, just maybe, a little more clarity on how to get there. It’s like the cards gave me a little nudge in the right direction. I’m going to keep these cards in mind and see what happens. Maybe I’ll try this again next month. I heard the first day of every month is Magician’s day!
Anyone else tried this “Make a Wish” tarot thing? Would love to hear about your experiences!
