Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards for a while, and I got this idea to do a “fire” themed reading. I wasn’t really following any specific spread, more like letting the cards guide me. It felt like a good way to, like, tap into some fiery energy, you know?

Getting Started
First, I cleared my space. I lit a red candle (fire, duh!) and some incense that smelled kinda spicy, to get me in the zone. I shuffled my deck a bunch, just handling the cards and thinking about what I wanted to explore. I was focusing on passion, drive, creativity – all that good stuff.
The Card Pulls
I didn’t lay them out in any fancy pattern, just kinda pulled them one by one and placed them in front of me. I think I pulled like, five or six cards in total.
- The first card I got was The Sun. I mean, obviously, right? Total fire energy. It made me think about optimism and, like, shining bright.
- Then I pulled the Ace of Wands. Another fire card! Wands are all about that spark of inspiration, new beginnings, that kind of thing. I was feeling pretty good at this point, like, “Okay, this is working!”
- I also got the Knight of Wands. This one felt a little more… intense. It’s like, “Go for it!” but also, “Be careful you don’t burn out.” A good reminder to pace myself.
- I remember there was a Strength card, and I think maybe the Queen of Wands. Some other cards had a little bit of a mix of other elements.
Making Sense of It All
I spent some time just looking at the cards, turning them over in my hands, and scribbling down some notes in my journal. I tried to connect them to what’s going on in my life right now. Like, where am I feeling that “Sun” energy? Where do I need to be mindful of that “Knight of Wands” impulsiveness?
It wasn’t so much about predicting the future as it was about getting a feel for the energy I’m working with. Kinda like a weather report for my soul, but instead of rain or clouds, it’s fire and wands.

Wrapping Up
After I felt like I’d gotten some good insights, I thanked the cards (gotta be polite!), blew out the candle, and put everything away. I felt… energized. Like I had a better sense of where to focus my efforts and what to watch out for. It was definitely a fun little experiment, and I’ll probably try it again with different elements, just to see what comes up.
