Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with Michael Thiessen’s horoscopes:
So, I’ve been kinda curious about astrology lately. You know, just seeing if there’s anything to it. I stumbled upon this guy, Michael Thiessen, who apparently does pretty in-depth horoscopes. I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
First, I searched online for his website. It’s pretty straightforward, nothing too flashy. I started browsing around, looking at the different types of readings he offers. He’s got your basic daily, weekly, and monthly horoscopes, but also some more detailed stuff like birth charts and, um, I think it was called “predictive astrology.” I decided to ease into it with a weekly horoscope, figuring it’s a good starting point.
I picked my zodiac sign, which is Leo, by the way. The process was simple enough: you just select your sign, and boom, there’s your horoscope. The weekly horoscope wasn’t super long, maybe a few paragraphs. It started with a general overview of the week for Leos, and then it got into specifics about love, work, and money. I have to admit, some of it was pretty vague. Like, it said I might experience some “shifts” in my career. What does that even mean, right?
But then, there were a couple of things that felt strangely accurate. It mentioned I might be feeling extra creative this week, which was true because I started a new crafting project. And it also talked about needing to be patient with a family member, and I’d actually just had a little disagreement with my sister. Coincidence? Maybe. But it did make me think.
To test it, I decided to write down a few key points from the horoscope in my phone’s notes app, so I could check back later. I jotted down things like “creative energy boost,” “family patience needed,” and “possible career shifts.” I went about my week, not really thinking about it too much. A few days later, I remembered the horoscope and checked my notes. It was a little spooky, honestly. I’d definitely been feeling that creative boost I mentioned, and I had a couple more interactions with my sister that required some patience on my part.
I even dug a bit deeper into my daily horoscopes just to see what those were about. They were shorter, obviously, but still had some interesting tidbits. One day, it said I should focus on self-care, and that actually turned out to be a day where I was feeling super stressed, so I took a long bath and did a face mask. Felt pretty good.
Now, I’m not saying I’m a full-on astrology believer now. But this little experiment with Michael Thiessen’s horoscopes has definitely piqued my interest. It’s like, even if it’s not 100% accurate, it can be a fun way to reflect on your life and maybe get a little guidance. I might even try one of those more in-depth readings sometime, just to see what that’s all about. We’ll see. If you have checked it out, let me know your experience below!
