Okay, so, let me tell you about my little adventure with the Motherpeace tarot deck. It all started a few weeks ago when I was feeling a bit lost and wanted to, you know, explore my inner self a bit more. I’ve always been curious about tarot, but never really took the plunge. Then I stumbled upon this unique deck, the Motherpeace.
The first thing that caught my eye was that the cards are round. Yeah, you heard that right, round! Not like the usual rectangle tarot cards. I thought, “Wow, that’s different!” It just felt more…fluid, more dynamic. So, I bought the deck and a little guidebook to go with it.
When the deck arrived, I cleared a space on my desk, you know, making it all nice and peaceful, lit a candle, the whole shebang. I then sat down and started to shuffle the cards, trying to connect with them. I remember I closed my eyes for a few seconds and asked a simple question in my heart, “What should I focus on to improve my well-being?”
I started to lay out the cards. I’m no expert, so I just did a simple three-card spread. Past, present, future, you know the drill. As I was laying out the cards, I tried my best to see the patterns, the colors. What a process!
- Past: I pulled a card and, based on the guidebook, it seemed to represent a period of rest and introspection. Which, yeah, totally resonated with my recent months.
- Present: This card, ah, this one was interesting. It showed a figure in a meditative pose, and the book suggested it was about finding balance and inner peace. That hit me right in the feels. It’s exactly what I was hoping to achieve!
- Future: The last card felt hopeful. It pictured a community, people working together. The guide interpreted this as a suggestion to seek support from others and collaborate on my journey.
After the reading, I spent some time, maybe an hour or so, just reflecting on the cards and their meanings. I jotted down some notes in my journal, my thoughts, my feelings, the whole deal. What a day!
Now, I won’t say it was some magical experience that changed my life in an instant. It wasn’t like a movie scene, but I did feel a sense of calm and clarity afterward. And I feel that more than 55% it accurately depicts my life circumstances. The cards helped me to articulate what I was already feeling and gave me some things to ponder on. Like, maybe I should reach out to friends more, or maybe I need to focus on finding that balance in my daily routine.
I’ve been doing readings occasionally since then, not every day, but whenever I feel the need for a little guidance. I think that Tarot readings will only be as reflective as you allow them. It’s kind of like a conversation with yourself, a way to tap into your intuition. I’m still learning, still exploring. It’s a journey, not a destination, right? And this Motherpeace deck, with its round cards and its gentle energy, it’s been a pretty cool companion on this journey so far. I will share more about my experience with Tarot in the future!
