So, I’ve been messing around with this whole astrology thing lately, and it’s actually kind of wild. Today, I wanted to dig into something called “movable signs.”
I started off by just poking around online, you know, the usual Google searches. I found out that these movable signs are also known as “cardinal signs.” Apparently, there are 12 zodiac signs, and they’re split up into three groups: cardinal, fixed, and mutable. These groups are called modalities, which sounds way fancier than it is.
I spent a good chunk of the afternoon reading about these modalities. It turns out that the cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. Each one marks the start of a new season. Like, Aries kicks off spring, Cancer starts summer, and so on. That’s pretty neat, right?
Here’s where it got interesting: I found some stuff saying these cardinal signs are all about taking the initiative. They’re like the go-getters of the zodiac. If you’re a cardinal sign, you’re probably the type to start new projects or get things moving.
- Aries is ruled by Mars, so it’s supposed to be all fiery and energetic.
- Cancer is all about emotions and home stuff.
- Libra is the sign of balance and relationships.
- Capricorn is the workaholic, super disciplined one.
I made some notes about how these signs are supposed to work together, creating this cycle of starting things, making them stable, and then adapting to changes. I jotted down that cardinal signs initiate change, fixed signs keep things steady, and mutable signs are all about going with the flow.
I also tried to figure out how this applies to me. I mean, I’m not sure I totally buy into all of this, but it’s fun to think about. I’m a Libra, so I guess that makes me a cardinal sign. I do like to start new things, but I wouldn’t say I’m always the best at finishing them. I probably need a fixed sign in my life to keep me on track. Ha!
Anyway, I spent the rest of the day just pondering all of this. I even drew a little diagram in my notebook, trying to visualize how these signs and modalities all fit together. It felt a bit like solving a puzzle.
Honestly, I’m still not sure what to make of it all. But it was definitely a fun way to spend the day. Maybe I’ll look into the other modalities next. Who knows, maybe there’s something to this astrology stuff after all.
