Okay, so, I’ve been feeling kinda lost lately, like I need some guidance, you know? And I remembered this tarot thing I tried once, and I thought, why not give it another shot? So, I decided to do a “one question tarot” reading for myself today.
First, I grabbed my tarot deck. It’s not some fancy, expensive one, just a simple deck I picked up a while back. I shuffled the cards a few times, trying to clear my mind and focus on what I wanted to ask. I mean, they say you should have a clear intention, right? So I closed my eyes for a moment and tried to focus. And then I started shuffling cards again.
I decided to keep it simple and just ask, “What do I need to know right now?” I’m not trying to predict the future or anything, I just wanted some insight into my current situation.
After shuffling, I cut the deck into three piles and then put them back together. I know some people have specific ways of doing this, but I just did what felt right at the moment. Then, I flipped over the top card.
It was “The Empress”. Honestly, I don’t know a lot about tarot card meanings. I just looked it up online. It seems like this card is all about nurturing, abundance, and creativity. Maybe it means I need to take better care of myself or focus on some creative projects I’ve been putting off. Or it might have another meaning, like mother earth. Anyway, that’s a cool card.
I also pulled another card – “The Burning Question”. Its illustration looks like a card with fire, which is cool. And then I pulled another card – “Yes or No Tarot”. I don’t know what these two cards are, but I wrote them down to learn more about them later.
- The Empress
- The Burning Question
- Yes or No Tarot
To be honest, I’m not sure if this reading really “means” anything. But it was a fun little exercise, and it definitely gave me something to think about. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime when I have another burning question.
So yeah, that’s my one-question tarot experience. It was pretty simple, but it was also kinda insightful. I just think that it’s a nice way to do some introspection and to see things from a different perspective. Or, it’s just another way to have a try at something I’m not familiar with. Have you tried it before?
