Okay, so, I’ve been seeing this OPI astrology nail polish thing all over my social media feeds lately, and you know me, I just had to try it out. I mean, who doesn’t want their nails to match their star sign, right?
First off, I had to figure out which colors corresponded to which signs. Turns out, OPI has this whole collection dedicated to it, with shades named after each of the zodiac signs. Pretty cool, huh? I’m a Gemini, so I went straight for that one. It’s this shimmery, sort of duochrome shade that shifts between blue and purple, and honestly, I’m obsessed with it.
Next up, the application. Now, I’m no nail artist, but I’ve painted my nails enough times to know the drill. This OPI polish went on super smooth. No streaks, no bubbles, nothing. I did two coats just to make sure the color really popped, and then finished it off with a top coat for that extra shine and protection. Oh, and the color changed many times when I put my hands under different lights, that was so funny.
Now, the real test: how long did it last? I’m pretty rough on my nails, always typing, washing dishes, you know, the usual. But this polish held up surprisingly well! I got a solid five days of wear before I noticed any major chipping, which is pretty impressive for me. Especially, the color did not fade out at all, it kept changing when I was hanging around with different lights, how cool is that?
- Application: Super smooth, no issues.
- Color: Absolutely gorgeous, especially for a Gemini like me!
- Longevity: Lasted a good five days without major chipping.
Overall, I’m pretty stoked about this OPI astrology nail polish. It’s a fun way to express yourself, the colors are stunning, and it actually lasts. I’m already thinking about which sign I want to try next. Maybe I’ll go for a fiery Leo or a mysterious Scorpio. The possibilities are endless! And I will definitely try them all in the future, at least the rest of the colors.
Would I recommend it?
Totally! It is very interesting to see my nail color change under different lights. Give it a try, and let me know what you think!
