So, today I wanted to try something new and dive into the world of Tarot. I picked up a deck and decided to focus on one card: the “reina de espadas tarot” or the Queen of Swords.
First, I spent some time just looking at the card. The imagery, you know? It’s a strong-looking woman, sitting on a throne, holding a sword upright. She looks serious, maybe even a bit intimidating. After just observing the card’s imagery, I wanted to understand the meaning behind it. This led me to search for information, mainly just to get a general sense of what this card is about.
From what I gathered, the Queen of Swords seems to represent intelligence, independence, and clear communication. She’s not afraid to speak her mind. Then, I started thinking about how this could apply to my own life. I even spent a few minutes in the morning doing some simple meditation. I tried to focus on the qualities that the Queen of Swords seems to symbolize. I pictured myself embodying her clear, direct way of communicating. I thought about some situations where I could be more assertive, and also thought about where I can communicate more clearly.
Next, I actually tried to use this in a real-life situation. I had a meeting at work where I needed to present some ideas. Usually, I’m a bit hesitant, but today, I channeled my inner Queen of Swords. I spoke clearly and confidently. I was able to articulate my thoughts well, but I do feel I need to work on my confidence.
Then during lunch, I pulled out the card again and reflected on the meeting. I jotted down some notes in my journal about how I felt during the presentation and what I could do better next time. I also drew a little picture of the Queen of Swords in my notebook, just for fun.
- Reflect on the card’s meaning.
- Meditate on its qualities.
- Apply it to a real-life situation.
- Journal about the experience.
- Also, just have fun with it.
Later in the afternoon, I had a conversation with my friend about the Tarot. It was interesting to hear her perspective, and we even compared it to other cards we knew about. It turns out, she had some experience with tarot readings in the past.
By the end of the day, I felt like I had a better understanding of the Queen of Swords. More than that, I realized how you can use these cards as tools for self-reflection. Also, I learned more about myself today. I learned that I can be more assertive than I thought, but I do also need to work on not being too harsh.
It was a pretty cool experience, and I might just keep exploring these Tarot cards. It’s like a little daily dose of introspection. This whole experience made me think about how I can approach conversations with more clarity and directness.
