Alright, let’s talk about these… whatchamacallit… astrology keycaps, yeah, that’s it. My grandson, the one always fiddlin’ with them clicky-clacky things, he told me about ’em. Said they’re like, uh, little hats for the buttons on his, uh, keyboard thingy. Fancy, ain’t it? Back in my day, we just had typewriters, and they were all the same boring color.
So, these keycaps, they got pictures on ’em. Stars and stuff. Like, you know, the kinda things you see in the sky at night, ‘cept prettier. My grandson showed me some pictures online. Lots and lots of ’em. Said you can even get your own special ones made, with whatever sign you are. You know, like that Libra or Scorpio stuff they talk about in the magazines. I’m a Taurus, myself. Stubborn as a mule, they say. Maybe I should get me some keycaps with a bull on ’em, haha!
- They got all sorts of colors too. Not just plain ol’ black and white. Bright reds, blues, greens. Even sparkly ones! Reminds me of them fancy Christmas lights they sell down at the store.
- And they ain’t just for looks, neither. My grandson says they feel different too. Smoother, he says. Makes typin’ more fun. I don’t know about that, I still prefer my pen and paper. But he seems to like it, so that’s good enough for me.
Now, I heard tell you can buy these keycaps all over the place. Online, mostly. Places like, uh, “Drop” and “JREDDI,” whatever those are. Sounds like fancy city names to me. My grandson says they got tons of different kinds. Zodiac keycaps, they call some of ’em. Got all the signs, I guess. So if you’re a Gemini or a Cancer or whatever, you can find your own little hat for your keyboard button.
He even showed me some website where they talk about, uh, astrological information and how it connects to these keycaps. Said something about Venus and Jupiter, and how it brings good luck. Sounded like a bunch of hooey to me, but hey, whatever makes people happy. They talked about houses too. First house, fourth house, somethin’ somethin’. I got a house, a real one, with a roof and walls. That’s all the houses I need to worry about, ha!
Anyways, these keycaps, they seem to be a big deal for these young folks. They like to make their keyboards all fancy and personal. Kinda like how we used to decorate our cars back in the day. Remember them fuzzy dice hangin’ from the rearview mirror? Yeah, somethin’ like that. Just a way to make things a little more fun and, uh, express yourself, I guess.
So, if you’re lookin’ to spice up your keyboard, or if you got a grandson who’s always clackin’ away on that thing, maybe these astrology keycaps are the way to go. They got all sorts, like I said. Plain ones, fancy ones, colorful ones. Even ones that glow in the dark, can you believe it? Just make sure you don’t lose ’em. They’re small, and knowing my luck, I’d drop one down the drain and never see it again.
