The Drawing Process
After shuffling, I laid out the cards face down on my table. I usually go for a simple three-card spread – past, present, and future. It’s easy to remember and usually gives me a good enough overview. So, I picked three cards, one by one, and flipped them over.
The Cards I Drew
- Past: The first card was the Five of Cups, the past. I’m not gonna lie. This card is a bit of a downer, it often shows loss or disappointment.
- Present: For the present, I got the Ace of Wands. This one is much more positive. It is like a new beginning, an idea, and fresh energy. Okay, that’s more like it!
- Future: And for the future, I drew The Star. This is a really nice card, all about hope, inspiration, and feeling renewed.
My Interpretation
Alright, so what does all this mean? It felt like the Five of Cups in the past position was pointing to some recent setbacks I’ve been dealing with. Work’s been tough, and I’ve had a few personal things going on that were a bit draining. So, yeah, that felt pretty accurate.
The Ace of Wands in the present position is encouraging. Maybe it meant I’m on the verge of a new project or idea. With The Star in the future position, it felt like things are looking up. It’s like a reminder to stay positive and keep moving forward.

So, that was my little tarot drawing for today. Honestly, doing these readings is always a bit of a mixed bag for me. Sometimes it feels spot on, and other times I’m just not sure.
