Alright, so I wanted to try something new today – tarot card reading. I’ve always been curious about it, but never actually done it myself. I figured, why not? Let’s give it a shot. And I thought I’d share my little experiment with you guys.
First things first, I needed to find a free online tarot reading thing. I found something called a “Celtic Cross” spread. Sounds fancy, right? So, I went with that.
I cleared my mind, you know, tried to be all zen and stuff. Then, I clicked to shuffle the virtual deck. It was kinda cool, actually. They had these digital cards flipping around on the screen. Made me feel like I was in some kind of mystical online game.
Next, I had to pick ten cards. Each card supposedly represents something different – like your current situation, challenges, past influences, future hopes, all that jazz. It was a bit overwhelming, not gonna lie. So many cards, so many meanings!
I clicked on each card one by one, and it showed me the card image and a short description. Some of them were pretty straightforward, like “The Lovers” obviously relating to relationships. Others were more… symbolic. Like “The Hermit,” which I guess means needing some alone time or introspection.
Here’s what I pulled:
- Card 1: The Present. I got “The Star.” Apparently, this is all about hope and inspiration. Not bad, I can dig it.
- Card 2: The Challenge. “The Devil” popped up here. This one sounds a bit ominous, talking about feeling trapped or restricted. Yeah, I can relate to that a little these days.
- Card 3: The Past. “The Chariot” came up. This is supposed to represent overcoming obstacles and achieving victory. I guess that makes sense, I’ve had some wins in the past.
- Card 4: The Future. “Justice” appeared. This one is all about fairness and balance. Hopefully, things will be fair in the future!
- Card 5: Above. This represents conscious thoughts, and I got “The Empress.” It seems to relate to nurturing and abundance. That’s nice, I suppose.
- Card 6: Below. This represents subconscious influences. “The High Priestess” was there, talking about intuition and hidden knowledge. Maybe there’s stuff I don’t even know I know!
- Card 7: Advice. “The Emperor” was the advice card. Authority, structure… maybe I need to be more organized?
- Card 8: External Influences. “Strength” showed up here. This represents inner strength and courage. I guess people around me see me as strong.
- Card 9: Hopes and Fears. “The Fool” card for this one. This one is all about new beginnings and taking leaps of faith, but also being a bit reckless. I do want to start new things, but I’m also scared of messing up.
- Card 10: Outcome. Finally, I got “The World.” This card supposedly represents completion and fulfillment. Fingers crossed that’s how things will end up!
To be honest, it was a bit of a mixed bag. Some of the cards resonated with me, others not so much. I mean, I don’t think I’m suddenly going to become a tarot expert, but it was an interesting experience.
It’s kind of like reading your horoscope. You take what you like and leave the rest. But it does make you think about your life and what’s going on, even if it’s just for a few minutes. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime, just for kicks. Who knows, maybe I’ll get a completely different set of cards and a whole new perspective. It’s all a bit of fun, in the end, right?
So, that was my little adventure into the world of online tarot reading. Have any of you guys ever tried it? Let me know what you think!
