Okay, here’s my blog post about making a tarot card tapestry, written in a casual, first-person style, just like the example:

So, I’ve been wanting to spice up my plain wall for a while now. I saw some cool tapestries online, but nothing really clicked, you know? Then it hit me – I could make my OWN, and what’s cooler than a custom tarot card tapestry? Exactly. Nothing.
First, I brainstormed which card I wanted. The Star? The Lovers? Too cliché. I ended up picking The Magician – I liked the vibe, the whole “manifesting your dreams” thing. Plus, it has a lot of cool imagery to work with.
Finding the Right Image
Next up, I hunted for the perfect Magician image. I didn’t want some generic, mass-produced thing. I scrolled through tons of artwork, some were too detailed, some too abstract. Finally, I found one I loved – a slightly vintage-looking design, with bold colors and clear lines. It was perfect!
Getting it Printed
Now, the tricky part – getting this image onto fabric. I don’t have a fancy fabric printer at home (who does?), so I looked up online printing services. There are a bunch, but after comparing prices and reviews, I chose one that seemed reliable.

- I uploaded my chosen Magician image to their site.
- I selected the tapestry size I wanted (pretty big, to make a statement!).
- I picked the fabric – I went with a lightweight polyester, something that would hang nicely and wouldn’t wrinkle too easily.
Then I placed the order and waited. It felt like forever, but probably only about a week. The anticipation was killing me!
The Big Reveal
Finally, the package arrived! I ripped it open like a kid on Christmas morning. And… it was AMAZING! The colors were vibrant, the image was crisp, and the fabric felt great. It was even better than I’d imagined.
Hanging it up was the easiest part. I just used some small nails, making sure it was level. And boom – instant wall upgrade! My boring wall was now a conversation starter.
Honestly, the whole process was way easier than I thought. And the best part? I have a totally unique tapestry that reflects my style. If you’re thinking about doing something similar, go for it! It’s super satisfying to create something with your own hands (well, with the help of a printing service, but you get the idea).
