Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “tarot crystals” thing popping up all over my feed, and I finally decided to give it a shot. I’m not really a super spiritual person, but I do like trying new things, and hey, it looked kinda pretty.
First, I gathered my stuff. I already had a basic tarot deck that I’d picked up a while back, mostly because the artwork was cool. Then I went to this little shop downtown that sells all sorts of rocks and crystals – you know, the kind with the incense burning and the wind chimes? I felt a little out of place, but I asked the lady at the counter for some help. I just told her I was new to this and wanted some crystals that were good for “beginners” and maybe matched well with tarot readings.
She showed me a few options. We ended up with:
- Clear Quartz: She said this one was good for “general energy” and amplifying other crystals. Seemed like a safe bet.
- Amethyst: This one was supposed to be for intuition and spiritual awareness. Figured that might be helpful with the tarot cards.
- Rose Quartz: This one was all about love and emotional healing. I thought, why not? Everyone could use a little more of that.
I took my little bag of crystals home and laid everything out on my table. I shuffled my tarot deck and just pulled a few cards, kind of randomly. I didn’t have a specific question in mind, I just wanted to see what would happen.
I got The Lovers, The Star, and The Three of Swords. Honestly, I had to look up the meanings online because I’m still learning. The Lovers is apparently about choices and relationships, The Star is about hope and inspiration, and The Three of Swords… well, that one’s about heartbreak and pain. Kind of a mixed bag, right?
Then, I tried to “connect” the crystals to the cards. I placed the Rose Quartz near The Lovers card, thinking about opening my heart to new possibilities. I put the Amethyst next to The Star, hoping to tap into some of that inspiration. And, because it felt weirdly appropriate, I placed the Clear Quartz near The Three of Swords, just hoping it would amplify… something, maybe help me process any difficult emotions.
My Experience
Honestly, I don’t know if it “worked” in any magical way. But it was a nice little ritual. It made me slow down and think about the cards, and the crystals were pretty to look at. It was a relaxing way to spend an evening, and it gave me a bit of a mental break from everything else going on.
I kept the crystals and cards out on my table for a few days. Every now and then, I’d pick them up and think about them. I’m not sure if I’m a full-blown believer in the power of crystals or tarot, but it was definitely a fun experiment. And who knows, maybe there’s something to it after all. I might try it again sometime, maybe with a more specific question in mind.
