Okay, so I wanted to try my hand at tarot reading interpretations today. I’ve always been curious, you know? It’s not like I believe in it, but it’s fun, and sometimes, you get some surprisingly insightful results.

First, I grabbed my tarot deck. It’s a pretty standard Rider-Waite deck that I picked up at a bookstore a while back. I made sure to shuffle the cards really well. I mean really well, because who knows, right?
My Simple Three-Card Spread
I decided to go with a simple three-card spread: Past, Present, and Future. Nothing fancy, just a quick look at my current situation. I laid the cards out face down, then flipped them over one by one.
- Past: The Three of Cups. Okay, that seemed about right. It usually means celebration, friendship, community. I’ve had a pretty good run lately, hanging out with friends, feeling pretty connected.
- Present: The Chariot. This one’s about willpower, determination, and overcoming obstacles. Hmm. I guess that makes sense. I’ve been feeling pretty driven lately, working on some personal projects.
- Future: The Five of Wands. Uh oh. This one usually indicates conflict, disagreements, and tension. Not exactly what I wanted to see!
Putting It All Together
So, I sat there for a bit, staring at the cards and thinking about how they might relate to my life. The Three of Cups in the past made sense, The Chariot for the present felt spot-on, but that Five of Wands in the future had me a little worried. Maybe it’s a warning? Maybe it means I should be careful to avoid arguments or something. I’m not too worried.
Honestly, I don’t take this stuff too seriously. But it was a fun exercise. I jotted down the cards and my initial thoughts in my journal. It’s a great way to reflect and kind of see what your subconcious is up to. Who knows, I might look back at this in a few weeks and see if that Five of Wands comes into play. Even if it doesn’t, it got me thinking, and that’s always a good thing.
