So, I’ve been diving deep into some pretty dark stuff lately – astrology charts of infamous people. Yeah, I know, it sounds a bit morbid, but trust me, it’s fascinating! Today, I decided to tackle Ted Bundy’s chart. I mean, the guy was a notorious serial killer, and I was curious if his astrological makeup could offer any insights into his twisted mind.
First off, I needed to find his birth time. That was a bit of a hassle. You’d think with someone so (in)famous, that info would be readily available, but no luck. I dug through a bunch of websites, and forums. Some said this time, some said another, it was a total mess. Finally, after what felt like hours, I found a birth certificate with his time of birth.
Once I had the birth time sorted, I jumped onto this free astrology website I found. I plugged in his birth details – November 24, 1946, 10:35 PM, Burlington, Vermont. And bam! There it was, his whole chart laid out in front of me.
Now, I’m no astrology expert, but I know the basics. I started with his Sun sign, Sagittarius. Okay, that’s the sign of the adventurer, the philosopher, the truth-seeker. Kinda ironic, considering Bundy’s life was anything but truthful.
- Sun in Sagittarius: Usually, this means someone who’s optimistic, loves freedom, and has a strong moral compass. Definitely not Bundy. But maybe, just maybe, this placement contributed to his ability to charm people and constantly reinvent himself.
Then I looked at his Moon sign – that’s your emotional side. Bundy’s Moon was in Capricorn.
- Moon in Capricorn: This placement suggests someone who’s emotionally reserved, disciplined, and maybe a bit cold. It can also indicate a need for control and a tendency towards manipulation. That certainly fits the bill, right?
His rising sign, or Ascendant, was Virgo. That’s how you present yourself to the world.
- Rising in Virgo: This often manifests as someone meticulous, analytical, and detail-oriented. Maybe this is why Bundy was able to evade capture for so long. He was careful, methodical in his approach. It also explains that “clean-cut” image he had going on.
I also noticed a bunch of planets clustered in Scorpio, a very intense and passionate sign often associated with darkness and transformation.
- Scorpio Stellium: This stellium including Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Neptune. Yikes. That’s a whole lot of Scorpio energy. It could point to someone secretive, obsessive, and potentially destructive. No surprises there, huh?
What did I take away from it?
Honestly, it was chilling to see how some aspects of his chart seemed to align with his horrific actions. But, and this is a big but, astrology isn’t deterministic. It doesn’t excuse his choices. Millions of people share similar placements and don’t become serial killers. It’s just one piece of a very complex puzzle. Still, it was a wild ride exploring his chart, and it definitely gave me a lot to think about.
I’m probably gonna look into more charts of famous figures. It’s kinda like a weird hobby now. Any suggestions who I should check out next?
