Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of “tarot del amor 3 cartas gitano” – basically, a three-card gypsy love tarot reading. I’ve been feeling a little… lost, romantically speaking, so I figured, why not? I grabbed my favorite tarot deck, the one with the really vibrant artwork, and cleared a space on my kitchen table. It’s got good vibes, that table.

Getting Started
First things first, I lit a candle. It’s just a regular white one, nothing fancy, but it helps me focus. Then, I spent a few minutes shuffling the deck, really trying to connect with the cards and put my energy (and my love life questions!) into them. I did it until it felt “right”, which for me just that i have the sense of shuffled enough.
The Reading
I laid out three cards, face down. From the left to the right, and I take my time, because I am not in a rush, and I want to get the best from doing it. The first card is supposed to represent the past, the second is the present, and the third is the potential future. Deep breaths, right?
- Card 1 (Past): I flipped it over, and it was The Lovers, but reversed. My initial thought I just interpret it as meaning past relationship choices that weren’t so great, maybe some indecision or conflict.
- Card 2 (Present): This one was the Five of Cups. It shows a figure mourning over spilled cups, but there are still two standing. It felt like a sign that I’m dwelling too much on what I’ve lost or what hasn’t worked out, and not seeing the good things that are still around.
- Card 3 (Future): Okay, this one got interesting. The Ace of Cups! New beginnings, emotional openness, a fresh start in love… it felt pretty hopeful!
My Takeaway
After staring at the cards, i put the cards aside and just try to remember the postion and the name of the cards, without much of any professinal words. I sat back and just kind of let it all sink in. What I got from it, in my own simple way, is that I need to let go of past hurts and disappointments. I’m holding onto baggage, and it’s keeping me from seeing the potential for something new and beautiful. The Ace of Cups felt like a green light to open my heart and be ready for whatever comes next.
I blew out the candle, I thanked the cards (I know, it sounds cheesy, I just did it), and put the deck away. I do the recording and interpretation myself, and i do felt a little lighter, and also I got a bit of clarity, I will see where it goes from here.
