Alright, let’s talk about these Celtic Tarots, or whatever they call ‘em. Folks say they can tell ya things, ya know? Like what’s gonna happen and all that. I ain’t no expert, mind you, just a plain ol’ person tryin’ to make sense of it all.
Now, some folks, they get all fancy with it. They lay out a whole mess of cards, like ten or somethin’. They call it the Celtic Cross. Sounds complicated, don’t it? I seen pictures, looks like a big ol’ circle with a stick through it. They say each card means somethin’ different. One card might be about what’s happenin’ right now, another might be about what’s comin’ down the road.
- Card one, they say, that’s like the heart of the matter, what’s really goin’ on.
- Then there’s card two, that’s the trouble, the thing that’s blockin’ ya.
- Card three, that’s the best ya can hope for, the good stuff.
And so on and so forth. It’s a whole lot to remember, I tell ya. But if you’re just startin’ out, you don’t gotta do all that fancy stuff. You can just pull one card, just one, and see what it says. That’s what I did when I first started messin’ with these things. Keeps it simple, ya know?
See, tarot card readin’, it’s like… well, it’s like lookin’ at pictures and tryin’ to figure out what they mean. It ain’t magic, not really. It’s more like… listenin’ to your gut, ya know? The cards just help ya focus, help ya see things maybe you wouldn’t see otherwise.
Now, some folks say these cards can tell ya about the past, the present, and the future. I don’t know about all that. Seems to me, the future ain’t set in stone. We make our own choices, right? But maybe the cards can give ya a little nudge, a little hint about which way to go.
And what about them Celts? I heard tell they were some old-timey folks, lived way back when. They had their own ways of doin’ things, their own ways of seein’ the world. They didn’t use these here tarot cards, though. They had other things, like rocks with scratches on ‘em, or somethin’. Runes, they called ‘em. Or ogham, somethin’ like that. Sounds like a whole other kettle of fish, if you ask me.
But back to the tarots. If you’re gonna try readin’ ‘em, the best thing to do is just start. Don’t get all hung up on doin’ it perfect. Just shuffle them cards, think about what you wanna know, and pull a card. Then look at the picture, and see what comes to mind. It’s about trustin’ yourself, trustin’ your feelin’s. And if it don’t make sense right away, that’s alright. Sometimes it takes a while for things to click.
And remember, these cards ain’t gonna tell ya everything. They ain’t gonna make your decisions for ya. They’re just tools, ya know? Like a hammer or a shovel. You still gotta do the work yourself. You still gotta swing that hammer, dig that dirt. The cards just give ya a little help along the way.
So, there you have it. That’s my take on these Celtic Tarots. Like I said, I ain’t no expert. Just a regular person tryin’ to make sense of things. But maybe, just maybe, these cards can help us all see things a little clearer, help us make better choices, help us find our way in this crazy world.
One last thing, don’t go spendin’ all yer money on fancy decks and books. A simple deck will do just fine. It’s the meanin’ you give the cards, not how pretty they are, that really matters.
