Okay, so I got this idea to make a regal tarot card. I thought it would be a cool project, you know? Something different.
First, I spent some time looking for some inspiration. I looked through a bunch of tarot decks online, and some royal portraits and stuff. Just to get an idea of what kind of style I wanted, you know?
After I got a pretty good idea of what I wanted, I started sketching. I just grabbed my sketchbook and a pencil, and started drawing. I drew a bunch of different designs, trying to figure out what I liked best. It was a mess, honestly, but it’s all part of the process, right?
- Drew a king figure, but it looked too stiff.
- Tried a queen, but it wasn’t quite right.
- Sketched some symbols, like crowns and swords, but they were too cliche.
Then, I decided to use a software, you know. I opened it up and started playing around with the tools. I imported my sketches and started tracing them, adding colors, and all that. It was a bit of a learning curve, but I figured it out eventually.
Trial and Error
I kept experimenting with different colors and effects. I tried a gold color scheme, but it looked too gaudy. Then I tried a more muted palette, and it was much better. I also played around with the layout, moving things around until it looked just right. This took me much time, but it was worth it in the end.
Finally, after hours of work, I finished it! It’s not perfect, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. It’s got that regal look I was going for, and it’s definitely unique. I might even make a whole deck, who knows?
So yeah, that’s how I made a regal tarot card. It was a fun project, and I learned a lot along the way. Maybe you should give it a try sometime! It can be a bit challenging, but the results are totally satisfying.
