Okay, so, today I wanted to mess around with something called “kite formation astrology.” I’d heard about it a few times, and it sounded kinda cool, like a secret message from the stars or something. Basically, it’s when some planets line up in the sky in a way that looks like a kite. I thought, “Why not try to see if this thing is real and what it might mean for me?”
First, I had to figure out how to even spot one of these kite things. I found some stuff online that said it happens when three planets are in a “Grand Trine” and another one is opposite one of those three. It also said you need to be able to have a natal chart, or birth chart. I had a hard time understanding what that was, but figured, if I can get one and do a daily chart wheel I can do this! I had to look up what a Grand Trine is too. Found out it’s just three planets spread out in a way that they make a big triangle in the sky. Sounds easy enough, right?
Then came the tricky part: actually finding the right person to help me do a natal chart. I looked around a bit and finally found an instructor with good reviews and they were into this kite stuff, too. I had to find the instructor and do a session with them to get my natal chart done. After I got the natal chart, I did another session with them to do a daily chart wheel.
After I got my charts I had to try and figure out which planets were where. I was looking for those three planets making a triangle and then another one hanging out on the opposite side. It felt like trying to find shapes in the clouds, but with a lot more squinting at my computer screen.
After a good while of staring and comparing to what I’d read, I finally spotted it! There it was, a little kite formation right there in my chart! I got a little excited, not gonna lie. It felt like I’d cracked some cosmic code.
The next step was figuring out what this kite was supposed to mean. I read that some people think a kite shows up when you’re supposed to get some kind of spiritual message or something to help you grow. I’m not sure I totally buy all that, but it was interesting to think about.
So, I spent some time just reflecting on my life, my goals, what I’m struggling with, all that deep stuff. I tried to see if anything in my life felt connected to the planets in the kite formation. Honestly, it was a pretty good excuse to just sit and think for a while, which I don’t do enough. It is kinda rare to see a Yod in astrology, which is apparently “fated”. I did not get to see one, but would have been interesting if I did.
In the end, I’m not sure if I had some big, life-changing revelation because of the kite formation. But, the whole process was a cool experience. I learned a bit about astrology, which I didn’t know much about before. It was really cool to learn about these shapes that can form, like the Grand Cross, or Grand Square, which is one of the rarest natal chart aspects in astrology. But more than that, it was just nice to take some time to myself and think about my life from a different perspective. Maybe there’s something to this astrology stuff after all, or maybe it’s just a fun way to get to know yourself a little better. Either way, I’m glad I gave it a shot.
