Okay, so, I’ve been diving deep into this whole astrology thing lately, and it’s wild, right? We always talk about the sun, the moon, and all those other planets, but what about our own home, Earth? I mean, we live here!
So, I started digging. I spent hours reading, watching videos, and basically falling down a rabbit hole. Turns out, Earth isn’t usually a big deal in the usual astrology charts. I know, kinda surprising. They mainly focus on how we see the stars and planets from here, not so much about Earth itself. It’s like, we’re so used to being on Earth that we forget it’s a planet, too, floating around in space just like Mars or Jupiter.
But then I thought, “There’s gotta be something more to it.” I mean, we’re literally standing on this planet; it has to influence us somehow, right?
My little journey to find the answers
First, I tried to see if Earth ruled any zodiac signs. Nope. Turns out, the zodiac is all about our view from Earth, like how the sun seems to move through the constellations. It’s all an illusion because we’re the ones moving, not the sun. So, no Earth sign, which was a bummer.
Then I looked into earth signs—you know, Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. I always thought they were super grounded and practical. And yeah, they are, but it’s more about the element of earth, not the planet. This element is all about our physical bodies, the stuff we’re made of. It’s like, these signs are connected to the material world, which makes sense.
Next up, I checked if Earth ruled any houses. You know, those 12 sections in the astrology chart that represent different areas of life. Again, nada. The houses are based on Earth’s rotation, like a 24-hour cycle. And they’re all ruled by other planets. So, Earth got left out again.
But here’s the thing. Even though Earth isn’t a big shot in traditional astrology, I realized it’s the foundation of everything. It’s where we live, where we experience all this stuff the other planets supposedly influence. So, I started thinking, maybe Earth’s role is less about direct rulership and more about being the stage where all the cosmic drama plays out.
- My Personal Realization: I realized that maybe Earth represents our physical existence, our grounding, and our connection to the material world. It’s like, the other planets might influence our personalities and life events, but Earth is where we actually live those experiences.
- Experimenting with the Idea: I’ve started looking at my own birth chart differently. Instead of ignoring Earth, I’m trying to see it as the backdrop for everything else. It’s like, if my sun sign represents my core identity, and my moon sign represents my emotions, then Earth is where those things manifest in my daily life.
- Keeping a Journal: I’ve been writing down how I feel each day, noting the astrological transits and trying to see if there’s a connection to how I’m experiencing things on Earth. It’s still early days, but it’s been pretty interesting so far.
So, that’s where I am now. Still exploring, still learning. It’s like, Earth might not be the star of the astrological show, but it’s definitely a main character in our lives. And I’m determined to figure out how it all fits together. Maybe it’s less about the usual rules and more about how we connect to this planet we call home. Anyway, I just wanted to share my little journey with you guys. Maybe you have some thoughts on this, too?
