Okay, so, today I wanted to mess around with tarot cards, specifically the Queen cards. I’ve always been intrigued by them, you know? They just seem so powerful and full of wisdom.
First off, I grabbed my favorite tarot deck. It’s the one with the really pretty artwork that I picked up at a little shop a few years back. I always feel a good connection with this deck. I made sure I was in a quiet space, you know, where I wouldn’t be disturbed. Then, I lit a couple of candles to set a nice, calm mood. I also put on some chill music in the background, nothing too distracting, just enough to help me focus.
Then, I shuffled the cards. I like to shuffle them while thinking about a question or just generally focusing on the Queens in the tarot. It’s kind of a meditative process, and it helps me feel more connected to the cards.
Pulling the Queens
- Queen of Wands: So, the first Queen I pulled was the Queen of Wands. This card is all about passion, energy, and being a natural leader. I spent some time looking at the card, you know, really taking in the imagery. It made me think about times when I’ve been confident and taken charge. I jotted down some notes about what this card means to me and how it might relate to my current situation.
- Queen of Cups: Next, I drew the Queen of Cups. This one is about emotions, intuition, and being nurturing. As soon as I saw the card, I felt a sense of calm and understanding. I thought about how important it is to listen to your gut and take care of yourself emotionally. Again, I wrote some stuff down in my journal, just my thoughts and feelings about the card.
- Queen of Swords: The third Queen was the Queen of Swords. This lady is all about clarity, honesty, and speaking your truth. I kind of like her vibe, even though it’s a bit sharp. It made me think about the importance of being honest with yourself and others, even when it’s hard. I reflected on some recent situations where I could have been more direct and wrote about them in my journal.
- Queen of Pentacles: Finally, I pulled the Queen of Pentacles. This card is about abundance, practicality, and being grounded. It felt really comforting and reassuring, you know? It made me think about taking care of my home, my finances, and just generally making sure I have a solid foundation. Of course, I wrote some more about this card and how I can bring more of that energy into my life.
After pulling all four Queens, I laid them out in front of me and just kind of stared at them for a while. I thought about how they all represent different aspects of a strong, well-rounded individual. It was a really cool experience, and I felt like I learned a lot about myself and what I need to focus on right now. I’ll definitely be doing this again soon. It’s such a great way to get some insight and clarity!
So, I guess that is all I have to share with today’s tarot practice, I am going to keep doing it more often later on!
