Okay, so I’ve been kinda freaking out about finding a new job. It’s been, like, forever, and I’m starting to feel the pressure. I’m not usually super into astrology, but I was desperate, so I thought, “Why not?” Let’s dive into this “when will I get a new job” astrology thing.

Getting Started (and Getting Lost)
First, I needed my birth chart. I mean, obviously, right? I used some website to get my birth chart made. All that required was my birthday, time, and the location that I was born, boom. The site generated it, and I was staring at all the houses, signs, symbols and etc., and I was like, “Uh… what now?” I felt like I was supposed to get my birth chart and suddenly some ancient wisdom would seep into my brain.
Finding Clues (or Trying To)
I started googling stuff like “astrology job change” and “career transits.” I read about Jupiter being the planet of luck and expansion and that it’s good for new jobs. Also that Saturn’s about career, but it’s more long-term, building-type stuff. I was trying to follow the planets and aspects and all the astrological related stuff.
I went to check my transit chart, So, transits are basically where the planets are now compared to where they were when you were born. It’s supposed to show what’s going on in your life, energy-wise.
Putting It All Together (Maybe?)
So after finding all this stuff out, and feeling like a wanna-be astrologer, I started to realize that I don’t think astrology is going to give me a date on the calendar and say, “You will get a job on this day exactly”. But It’s more about being open to possibilities and recognizing when a good opportunity comes along.
So, here’s what I got so far:
- Pay attention to Jupiter transits. I’m gonna watch for when Jupiter is making nice with my career-related planets.
- Look at Saturn, too. Even if it’s not instant gratification, good Saturn stuff can mean I’m building a solid foundation for the future.
- Use this as motivation, not a crystal ball. Instead of just waiting around for the stars to align, I’m gonna take this as a kick in the butt to keep applying and networking.
The Bottom Line
Honestly, I still don’t know when I’ll get a new job. But messing around with astrology did make me feel a little more proactive. And, I am more prepared for it.
If nothing else, it was a fun distraction! I’ll update you guys when I finally land something – astrologically aligned or not!
