Okay, so I’ve been diving into this thing called “Yogic Astrology,” and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a trip. I’m not an expert, just a regular person trying new things, and I wanted to share my journey so far.

I started, like most people I guess, with a Google search. I was feeling a bit… lost, I guess? So I typed “Yogic Astrology.” I really start to finding some connections between yoga poses and astrological signs.
My first step was pretty simple: I looked up my sun sign. You know, the basic one everyone knows. Turns out, I’m a Leo. I then searched for yoga poses that are supposedly good for Leos. They recommend things like backbends (think Cobra or Bridge pose) to strengthen the spine, and heart-openers, because Leos are all about that heart energy, right?
My Actual Practice
- Morning Routine: I started adding these poses into my usual morning yoga routine. I’m not gonna lie, it felt a little weird at first, like I was just following instructions without really understanding them. I would think “I am doing this sun salutation in a leo way…?” while trying to do the poses.
- Experimenting: After a week or two, I started to feel a bit more connected to the poses. I wasn’t just going through the motions; I was actually thinking about why these poses were supposedly good for me, based on my sign. It became a bit of a mindset shift.
- Feeling the Effects: Slowly, I think, I started to notice some subtle changes. I found myself more willing to put myself out there, I did feel a bit more… courageous. It wasn’t like a huge personality change, but more like a gentle nudge in a certain direction.
The biggest challenge was probably not getting bogged down in all the details. There’s so much information out there, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. I decided to keep it simple and focus on just a few key poses and ideas. I also started looking at my moon sign which, I think, I try to connect it to my emotions.
I’m still learning, of course. This isn’t a “quick fix” kind of thing. It’s more about exploring the connections between my body, my mind, and, well, the stars, I guess. It’s been a fun, and sometimes confusing, experiment, and I’m definitely going to keep exploring it.

It is like, my body and mind can be effected by the stars and the universe? It seems like a long journey to find the answer.
