Alright, so, I was thinking about doing this “monthly horoscope vice” thing, you know, like checking out those monthly predictions. I mean, why not, right? Could be fun, could be a total waste of time, but hey, gotta try stuff out.
So, first, I had to figure out where to even get these horoscopes. I just googled “monthly horoscope” and a bunch of websites popped up. There’s this one site called “*”, seemed legit enough. They had horoscopes for every sign, looked pretty organized. Another one called “*” or something like that looked okay too. But I’m a fan of Vice, so I naturally searched for it. But Vice’s website just didn’t provide a horoscope section. So I had to look for other websites that offered monthly horoscope predictions.
I decided to check out a few different ones, just to see what they were all about. One of them talked about a full moon in Virgo on February 24th, saying it’s all about grounding and stuff. Sounds a bit hippie-dippie, but okay. Another one mentioned Venus and Mars hanging out in Aquarius, which is supposed to be about love and willpower. Who knows what that even means, but it sounds kinda cool, I guess.
Then I started reading the actual horoscopes for my sign. It was a mix of things, some of them were kind of specific, like “discussions finally begin moving full-steam ahead!” What discussions? About what? But some of it was more general, like, “the month opens with Mercury retrograde, and since it’s Cancer season, we’re in a nostalgic mood.” I guess I’ve been feeling a bit nostalgic lately, so maybe there’s something to that.
I did this for a few days, reading different horoscopes and just kind of seeing how they related to my life. I wouldn’t say I suddenly became a believer or anything, but it was interesting to see how some of the things they said did seem to line up with what I was going through, at least a little bit. Then I started checking out horoscopes for other signs too, like my friends and family. It was kind of a fun way to think about their personalities and what they might be going through.
Trying to Make Sense of It
Here’s what I noticed:
- Full Moon Stuff: A lot of these horoscopes talk about full moons and new moons. Apparently, they’re supposed to be times of change and new beginnings, or something like that.
- Planets in Signs: They always mention which planets are in which signs. Like, “the sun in sweet, sentimental Cancer” or “the full moon in Capricorn.” I don’t really know what that means, but it sounds important, right?
- Retrogrades: Mercury retrograde seems like a big deal. They always say it messes with communication and technology. I’ve definitely had some tech issues lately, so maybe that’s it?
So, after doing this whole “monthly horoscope vice” experiment, I’m not sure if I’m totally convinced, but it’s definitely given me something to think about. It’s kind of like reading a fortune cookie, you know? You don’t necessarily believe it, but it’s fun to see if it comes true. I’ll probably keep checking them out, just for kicks. Maybe there’s something to this astrology stuff after all, or maybe it’s just a bunch of mumbo-jumbo. Either way, it’s been a fun little experiment.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my little adventure into the world of monthly horoscopes. Maybe you’ll give it a try too. Or maybe you’ll think I’m totally nuts. Either way, it’s all good. Just another one of those things I tried out, you know?
