Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get into this whole tarot thing for a while now. You know, just to see what it’s all about and maybe get a little guidance or something. And I finally decided to go for it this month. I mean, why not, right? It’s a new month, a fresh start, the perfect time to try something new.
First things first, I needed to get myself a deck of tarot cards. I went online, did a bit of browsing, and found one that looked pretty cool. It had these really neat designs and I just vibed with it. Ordered it, waited a few days, and boom, it arrived! I was so pumped to open it up and check out all the cards.
Next, I had to figure out what the heck to do with these cards. I mean, I couldn’t just start throwing them around and expect to get some deep insights, right? So, back to the internet I went. I read a bunch of articles and watched some videos about different tarot spreads. You know, the way you lay out the cards to ask questions and stuff. There are so many of them! I didn’t know which one to do to start.
Then I came across this thing called a “monthly tarot spread.” It’s basically where you lay out cards to get an overview of what’s coming up in the month ahead. Like, what kind of energy to expect, what challenges might pop up, and what good stuff to look forward to. It’s like a little sneak peek into the future, but not in a creepy way, you know?
I found a few different monthly spreads, but I decided to go with a simple one to start. It was a three-card spread. First card is for the theme of this month, the second is for the challenges and the third is for the outcome. I shuffled the cards, thinking about the month ahead and what I wanted to get out of it. Then, I laid out the three cards face down in front of me, took a deep breath, and flipped them over one by one.
- The first card was The Magician. I looked it up, and apparently, it’s all about using your skills and resources to make things happen. So, I guess this month is about taking action and being resourceful. Cool, I can dig that.
- The second card was The Tower. This one was a bit scary, to be honest. It’s supposed to represent sudden change, upheaval, and even destruction. Yikes! But then I read that it can also mean breaking down old structures to make way for something new. So, maybe it’s not all bad. Maybe it’s about letting go of things that aren’t serving me anymore.
- The third card was The Star. This one felt really good. It’s all about hope, inspiration, and healing. After the intensity of The Tower, this was a welcome sight. It seems like even if there are some shake-ups this month, things will ultimately work out for the best. There’s light at the end of the tunnel, you know?
My Feeling
So, yeah, that was my first monthly tarot spread. It was a bit of a rollercoaster, but I actually found it really helpful. It gave me some things to think about and prepare for in the month ahead. I’m definitely going to keep doing this each month and see how it goes. Maybe I’ll even try some of those more complicated spreads once I get the hang of it. Who knows, maybe I’ll become a tarot pro one day! Haha, just kidding… unless?
